Pikes raise awareness and money in Relay for Life
|
More than a million patients are diagnosed with cancer each year. The members of Pi Kappa Alpha have taken action against cancer by participating in the American Cancer Society Relay For Life event at the University of Washington. The event will take place at Husky Stadium on May 15th & 16th.

Relay For Life is an overnight event that unites our community in a common effort to raise much-needed funds for cancer research, education, advocacy, and patient services. Spring pledge Brian Lee is leading a Pike team of 18 participants in the event, which takes place in Husky Stadium from 2pm Saturday to 10am Sunday. The funds raised help bring the American Cancer Society one step closer to eliminating cancer. The Relay for Life is very important - we can’t stop now because there’s no finish line until there’s a cure.
